Tila Tequila may still be looking for love but that doesn't mean that she'll be returning to the reality dating series that catapulted her to the spotlight. According to the 26-year-old reality TV starlet, she won't be doing a third installment of MTV's
A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila.
The bisexual-themed series, which premiered on October 9, 2007, followed a bunch of straight males and lesbian female contestants as they live under one roof and compete for Tila Tequila's affection. Tila found love in season 1 winner
Bobby Banhart. Unfortunately, their relationship ended, which paved the way for a second season of
A Shot at Love. Season 2, which kicked off on April 22 and concluded earlier this month, saw
Kristy Morgan as the winner. However, she declined her shot at love and left Tila Tequila brokenhearted yet again.
“I have decided that I do not want to do
A Shot at Love Season 3 because I feel like this show doesn't fully represent who I am as a regular person,” Tila Tequila wrote on her official blog. “It was fun while it lasted but as life moves on, I feel that it is important that I move on as well.
On the other hand, that doesn't mean that Tila Tequila is leaving the reality TV circuit for good as she is now slated to star on yet another TV program.
“With that said.....never fear my darlings, because I am definitely working on another TV show that will be all me baby! So I'm very excited about that! I can't wait to show the world all of me and not just one small side of me....I am ready to get drunk, crazy, and have fun with my life! This is all worth it at the end of the day because I have all of my awesome fans to share this journey with,” Tila Tequila revealed.
