Another familiar face will be showing up on American Horror Story for season 5. But that’s not the only big casting news to talk about. A “mystery hero” role has been cast on the Arrow/Flash spin-off. Also, The Fosters has hired Bruce Davidson to take over an already-existing role — but which one? And we’ve got more details on two Boy Meets World actors who we’ll get to see on Girl Meet World. Read on for all the details.

Evan Peters Returning for American Horror Story: Hotel
We’ve always come to expect previous cast members to return in new roles on American Horror Story. The latest to sign on is Evan Peters. Creator Ryan Murphy made the announcement on Twitter: “This season, Evan Peters will be waiting for you in Room 64. #AHSHOTEL.”
The specifics of Peters’ role is not known at this time; I’m sure we’ll find out more as we get closer to the October premiere. The actor has appeared in every season of American Horror Story. This fall’s installment, Hotel, will also see the likes of Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Cheyenne Jackson, Chloe Sevigny and Wes Bentley among the cast.
“Mystery Hero” Role Cast on Arrow/The Flash Spin-Off
Actor Franz Drameh, who could be seen on the big screen in 2014’s Edge of Tomorrow, has been cast as a “mystery hero” named Jay Jackson in the untitled Arrow/Flash spin-off. According to TVLine, this character is a former high school athlete sidelined by an injury that ruined his chances at a professional career in sports. As a result, he ended up working as an auto mechanic.
The initial character description for the role says that Jay Jackson is a “regular, street smart guy who unexpectedly gains powers and then, as part of the team, regularly quips about the insanity of the situations.” And, apparently, Jay will have a connection with the crew of S.T.A.R. Labs. What could that mean?
The Fosters Recasts Stewart Adams
It sometimes can be hard to recast a role. But it’ll be easier for The Fosters since this character has only appeared in one episode.
Bruce Davison, from the X-Men movies and the ABC drama Last Resort, is stepping into the shoes of Stewart Adams, replacing Stephen Collins of 7th Heaven fame. Collins, who played Stewart in the 2013 summer finale, has been involved in a lot of child molestation controversies that has resulted in the actor being dropped from projects like Scandal and now The Fosters.
Davidson will make his debut on the ABC Family series in episode 4. Season 3 of The Fosters premieres on June 8 at 8pm.
Eric Matthews and Mr. Feeny on Girl Meets World
We already knew that Cory’s brother Eric and the fantastic Mr. Feeny would be showing up on Girl Meets World, but now we have new info to report.
William Daniels, best known for playing the wise teacher Mr. Feeny on Boy Meets World, will guest star in the season 2 premiere of Girl Meets World on May 11, as well as the episode airing on May 14, as reported by Zap2It. (The latter is the same episode that Rider Strong is set to reprise his role as Shawn Hunter.) The official synopsis for the premiere says that “Riley and Maya are anxious to begin eighth grade and have a new teacher that isn’t Riley’s father.” Could this new teacher be the one and only Mr. Feeny?
As for Eric Matthews, actor Will Friedle will be in the May 15 episode. Fans of BMW will be excited by this because the episode title is “Girl Meets Mr. Squirrels,” with Mr. Squirrels being his alter-ego. He’ll be called in to help with a fight between Riley and Maya.
