To prepare ourselves for the crazy, perhaps catastrophic premiere of America’s Next Top Model: All Stars, let’s familiarize ourselves with the contestants. We know a lot about these ladies from their time on the show, but what have they accomplished since then? What mysterious mystical force convinced them to take another shot at the much-coveted and often laughed-at title? Was it Tyra?
Some of these questions will be answered throughout this week, when we take a look back at the lives of these All-Star contestants. We’ll also highlight a few of their best moments on America’s Next Top Model.
We’ve got a little taste of Hawaii for you today, with the sexy Sheena Sakai up next.

Sheena’s come a long way from her pre-America’s Next Top Model job of being a waitress and go-go dancer. During the show, however, she was at first criticized for her suggestive poses and for lying about her breast augmentation. She learned from that though, and went on to impress the judges.
Her runway walk was also applauded, in addition to her look being compared to the fashion model Kimora Lee Simmons. This helped during the fierce eyes photo shoot, where Tyra praised Sheena for embodying an “Asian warrior”. Despite her obvious sexuality, she had a great personality which showed in commercials. Too bad she couldn’t keep it up, and this inconsistency led to her elimination.
Since her time on America’s Next Top Model, Sheena stepped out of her “hoochie” image and signed with Model Management Group. Aside from appearing on BET’s Rip the Runway, did you see her little performance at Pipeline Cafe?
Sheena has also branched out into (sort of) acting. She appeared on an episode of Gossip Girl in 2009, in addition to doing stunts for the film Tropic Thunder. Another change, if you haven’t noticed it yet, is that she’s known as Sheena Satana now. Yep, that’s what’s listed on her official last.fm page.
We’re not expecting her to start any fights within the Top Model house this time. But who knows? Tensions will always be there and anything can happen in that model madhouse.
