This is a big time episode for Big Brother 9.  The Power of Veto competition will be fun, but the real sparks will come at the Power of Veto ceremony.  Will Sheila’s plan to back door Natalie come to fruition?  Will whoever wins the Big Brother Power of Veto acquiesce to the Head of Household’s wishes?  It’s a turning point.  If Natalie goes home instead of Sharon, the tables will have turned.  Sharon might actually have a shot.  But, I think I speak for almost everyone on the planet when I say that I want Natalie gone.  I’ll be here throughout the episode, with live updates on the action in the house.

Natalie thinks she is in a great position.  Ha.  Sheila says that she likes to bash Adam in front of the other girls, but her allegiance lies with Baller. I believe her.  Sheila still wants Natalie gone. Good, stay strong Big She!  Adam complains about being put on the block.  Relax, Baller.  You’re in a good position, man.

Ryan, Adam and Sheila decide to kick Natalie out of their group.  Uh, cool.

The house guests are surprised when the TV announces the PoV competition will happen that night.  Sheila is feeling good – unless Natalie wins the PoV, the plan will work.  Natalie says she has some premonitions, which she calls “premies.”  Oh, I cannot stand you, Natalie.

Power of Veto competition time.  The players go to their separate rooms and are called out to the backyard one at a time.  The backyard has a couch, in front of a huge TV set with nine different screens.  THey have to solve a puzzle, using the remotes to change the images.  There are two puzzle pictures, but only one is full and only one will fill all nine screens.  The fastest time to complete the puzzles wins the Power of Veto.

Natalie goes first, and she’s having a lot of trouble.

Adam goes second, and we don’t really see any of his puzzle attempt.  Ditto with Ryan and Sharon and Sheila.  They’re all worried, because Natalie is obsessed with puzzles.

A lot of time is spent watching the house guests toil around.  It’s fun watching Sheila blatantly messing up.  Adam seems to dominate it pretty easily.

Time for the results.

Ryan: 6 minutes, 1 second
Sheila: 15 minutes, 30 seconds
Adam: 3 minutes, 20 seconds
Natalie: 12 minutes, 9 seconds
Sharon: 4 minutes, 26 seconds

Adam wins the Power of Veto and will take himself off the block.

Natalie knows that she is going to be put up.  So, she immediately starts yapping to Ryan and Adam.  Ryan and Adam have all the power now.  Natalie says that they’ll go after Sheila next week.  Meanwhile, Sheila is very adamant with Ryan that he has to stick with the plan.  It looks like he will.

Natalie is ridiculous – she just said that she wanted to be an actress, but she never got work.  Now she knows why: because god wanted her to go on TV and be herself.  Right.  Sheila is doing a very good job of keeping her intentions secret to Natalie – she lies directly to Nat’s face.  It’s fun to watch.

Sheila’s birthday!  Adam and Ryan set up a surprise party, with cake and everything.  She quite happy about the surprise, it looks like.  They give her presents.  One is a letter from her mom.  They apparently don’t have a great relationship.  Sheila cries.

Ryan and Adam go back and forth on who to vote to evict.  They’re bringing back the possibility of keeping Natalie.  I hope they don’t.  Please don’t.  Please, please, please.

Time for the Power of Veto ceremony.  it goes as expected.  Adam uses the Power of Veto to take himself off the block.  Sheila, in turn, replaces Adam with Natalie.  The end.
