Dancing with the Stars has reached the point in season 25 where it becomes hard to predict who will go home. The bad dancers are gone and we’re left with eight couples, any one of whom could get to the finale.
So far every eliminated pair has been last or second-to-last on the leaderboard. However, for this week that points to three popular couples who’ve proven themselves in the past and just had a bad night.

40: Lindsey Stirling
39: Jordan Fisher
37: Terrell Owens
36: Nikki Bella, Vanessa Lachey
31: Frankie Muniz, Victoria Arlen
30: Drew Scott
The only thing I’m certain of is that Lindsey and Jordan are safe since they seem destined to be the Final 2. T.O. delivered a very memorable Spy Jive and if he survived in the past, staying this week should be simple.
Vanessa should be able to survive if only because her husband Nick being eliminated will theoretically help push a lot of his votes to her. Nikki had solid scores, though she’s been performing very early for most of the weeks and may be getting lost in the shuffle. Still, I think her solid fan base and large social media following should be enough to keep her safe.
That leaves the trio at the bottom. Victoria has an inspiring story, but it’s taken a backseat in recent weeks and if people are over it, she could be in danger. But her partner Val has reached the Top 6 for the past 10 seasons in a row, so it would be shocking for them to go home this early.
I expected Frankie to go home early, but he quickly surprised me and has become one of the favorites. But he had a bad week with his scores and his Animation Jazz routine was psychedelic, but a bit too weird. Then there’s Drew, at the bottom of the leaderboard. He’s improved a lot, but slid back to his old sloppiness. It’s hard to tell which stars actually have a lot of viewer support, and that’s what Drew will have to rely on.
I’m not sure Drew has it. I know a lot of people seem to love him and his twin, but I also have to assume that a lot of people neither know nor care about the Property Brothers. I, for one, had never heard of them before he showed up on DWTS.
So I’m predicting that Drew Scott and Emma Slater will be eliminated. However, I’m not confident at all an could easily see it being Frankie or Victoria or Nikki or even T.O. or Vanessa.
