The ninth week of Dancing with the Stars season 21 will throw something new at the six remaining couples. The couples will all perform twice. First up are individual routines featuring songs by Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran, among others. In the second round, the six couples are paired off and will do side-by-side mini group routines inspired by various shows, including the musical Chicago and Cirque du Soleil’s tribute to the Beatles.
For these dance duets, Alexa and Bindi will team up to take on Chicago, with Mark and Derek by their sides. Nick and Tamar, who worked quite successfully together in the Halloween Night team dance, will do a Beatles-inspired Rumba (perhaps with some Cirque du Soleil tricks). And Alek and Carlos get to Paso Doble to Queen.
Here are the individual and duet songs and some of the styles that will be performed.
