Dancing with the Stars season 23 is upon us. A new group of celebrities will take to the ballroom with their pro partners for a chance at the Mirror Ball Trophy. But what dance styles and songs can we expect from the pairs in their first routines?
6 Couples Who Could Win DWTS Season 23>>
The 13 new couples will take on either the Foxtrot, Jive, Cha-Cha-Cha or a Viennese Waltz for their first dances. As for songs choices, two stick out. Vanilla Ice is hitting the floor right with away with his biggest hit, “Ice Ice Baby,” while Ryan Lochte is dancing to the appropriate and hilariously titled “Call Me Irresponsible.” Kudos to Ryan, Cheryl and the producers for the irony.
Also, here’s one fun fact to keep in mind. For the last four seasons in a row, the first couple eliminated from the show all had the same style for their first dance: Cha-Cha-Cha. I assume Laurie, Calvin and Vanilla Ice will be safe, so that’s bad news for Rick Perry.
