All this week, I have carefully made a study of all 12 of the celebrities who will grace the dance floor on season 6 of
Dancing with the Stars. This season's cast is so strong that it's virtually impossible to predict how things will go, especially considering that each couple's fate is in the hands of a sometimes fickle voting public. Nevertheless, I have done my best to gather information on each of the 12 dancing couples to make an informed prediction on how the season will play out.
Below, find the Power Rankings for the Top Four couples on
Dancing with the Stars season 6.

4. Cristian de la Fuente and Cheryl Burke
Cristian de la Fuente is not terribly widely known in the U.S. He's not a complete stranger, however, having appeared on
Ugly Betty and
CSI: Miami, but more importantly, he is one sexy man, with hot Latin rhythms running through his veins. Plus, he has two-time champion Cheryl Burke as his partner. This is a great combination.
3. Kristi Yamaguchi and Mark Ballas
Kristi Yamaguchi and Mark Ballas are the golden couple this season. Kristi has proven that she has the strength and skills to make a champion figure skater, and it's not a stretch to imagine that her many years of skating will be easily translated to ballroom dance. She and Mark will definitely wow the judges and the viewing audience, but I predict that the public will turn on her in the end because of the perceived notion that she has an unfair advantage.
2. Marlee Matlin and Fabian Sanchez
Marlee Matlin and Fabian Sanchez are definitely the underdog team this season. After all, Marlee is deaf and Fabian is brand new to
Dancing with the Stars, lacking the fan base that some of the other pros have developed. But mark my words, they will make it far. Marlee has said in interviews that she is able to hear the beat of the music, and really, what more does one need to stay on beat? She's beautiful and talented and determined, and she will become a fan favorite.
1. Jason Taylor and Edyta Sliwinska
As much as I want a female celebrity to win
Dancing with the Stars this season—and after four straight seasons of men taking home the trophy, I want it a lot—my wish for Edyta Sliwinska to win is greater. Edyta is the only professional dancer to have appeared on every season of the show. She came closest to winning with
Joey Lawrence, coming in third in season 3, but for the most part, she's been given dancing duds as partners. Even last season,
Cameron Mathison may have been scrumptious eye candy, but he has little natural grace. Thankfully, this season, she's got Jason Taylor, who plays for the Miami Dolphins and was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2006. It takes an incredible amount of fancy footwork to be a great football player like Jason Taylor is, and Edyta will no doubt be able to mold him into a sure-footed ballroom dancer as well.
