Heather Mills has nothing to say about her pending divorce with Sir Paul McCartney…at least officially, but she was overheard in a restaurant last week complaining to some friends about it.
“You don’t know what I’ve been through. I have had a terrible time,” she complained.
She’s already been awarded millions so far, and is reportedly demanding even more as the divorce settlements continue. Mills doesn’t really care what anyone thinks about this, though, and only wants to discuss her upcoming debut on Dancing with the Stars.
“It doesn’t really matter who I am as a person. What matters is what they think of the dance,” she said. “What I want to do is show that you can get out there and do anything with an artificial leg.”
But can she really compete in Dancing with the Stars? Internet gambling sites are taking bets on whether partial-amputee Heather Mills will drop out of the show; some, like bodog.com, are also offering you a chance to bet on whether her prosthetic leg will “fall off, not be purposely taken off, during a dance routine.”
Heather herself says she’s not nervous at all, and seems confident in her ability…sort of.
“Because I do a lot of sport, because I’m kind of quite flexible, the things that are normally hard for people to do, I find easy, but the things that are really simple for people, like just walking in a straight line, I find very, very difficult.”
(I guess as long as they don’t ask her to walk in a straight line she’ll be fine.)
Her Dancing with the Stars partner Jonathan Roberts is not so certain, as Mills and her leg are not doing all that well in rehearsals.
“It’s definitely hard on the balance because one moment she can actually do it and the next the leg just goes out.”
