If you think Jane Lynch is anything like her ruthless character on Glee, Sue Sylvester, think again, because she is teaming up with the ‘Don’t Major in Debt’ campaign, an unbiased resource, as she puts it, for those who are preparing to go to college. BuddyTV spoke to Lynch about the campaign and website, which launched this week with the National College Finance Center. By visiting the website, you can find information and resources to help you with student loans and paying for college.
And I couldn’t let her go without talking about the upcoming season 4 of Glee, which will see a major format change as the show moves back and forth between Ohio and New York. With all these changes, will the show still feel like Glee? Lynch addresses that, as well as Sue’s pregnancy and the imminent birth of her baby. Producer Ian Brennan said recently at Comic-Con that “When we come back in [to season 4], Sue has had her baby, although we still don’t know who the celebrity father of her child is.” According to him, we can expect to find out who the father is possibly in the first half of the season.
But what about her newborn — will we see the baby in any scenes with Sue? Watch the entire interview with Jane Lynch below to find out what she believes will happen, as well as her thoughts on mentoring The Glee Project contestants (“I don’t like giving advice”).
Glee season 4 premieres September 13 at 9pm on FOX.
