Glee may be full-time in New York City now, but as our recap headline from the previous episode said, it’s not all puppies and rainbows in the Big Apple. That’ll be even more apparent this coming up Tuesday.
The episode is titled “Bash,” and no, it’s not referring to some party. Rather, Kurt will end up being the victim of gay bashing. Also, Rachel continues down the path to Broadway stardom by making a commitment regarding her role in Funny Girl.

The music in this episode is a tribute of sorts because most of the songs are by American composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim. Here is the song list: “No One is Alone” from Into the Woods, “Not While I’m Around” from Sweeney Todd, “I’m Still Here” and “Broadway Baby” from Follies, Aretha Franklin’s “(You Make Me Feel Like a) Natural Woman” and “Colour Blind,” which is an original song by Glee‘s very own Amber Riley.
This is the second time that a cast member has had one of their own songs featured in an episode; the first was Matthew Morrison with “Still Got Tonight.”
