Coming off of an episode that featured a storyline about gay bashing, Glee is about to cover another serious topic: STDs.
In Tuesday’s episode, the guys decide to get tested, and one of them receives some bad news. Also, Kurt and Blaine continue having issues with their relationship (what’s new?) — and it involves the “Freshman Fifteen.” And Mercedes reveals something very personal to Sam.

“Tested” is only covering four songs, surprisingly, considering the norm lately has been six or seven. Here is the song list for the episode: Robert Palmer’s “Addicted to Love,” Foreigner’s “I Want to Know What Love Is,” Janet Jackson’s “Let’s Wait Awhile” and Pat Benatar’s “Love is a Battlefield.”
Artie gets his own solo — and the song he’s singing ties in well with his storyline in this episode — as does Mercedes. And there are two duets: one by Mercedes and Artie, and the other by Klaine. In fact, it seems like all these songs, which you can listen to below, are very fitting to all of the storylines mentioned above and not random at all.
“Addicted to Love” — Artie
“I Want to Know What Love Is” — Mercedes
“Let’s Wait Awhile” — Mercedes & Artie
“Love is a Battlefield” — Kurt & Blaine
Which Glee cover is your favorite? Do you like the Mercedes and Artie duet? And do you like how fitting these songs are for the storylines?
Glee airs Tuesdays at 8pm on FOX.
