In this week’s episode, Kurt tries booking a gig for his new band Pamela Lansbury, but ends up causing some tension with his friends over where they should perform first. But at McKinley, Blaine has an idea for Nationals; however, he’s accused of being too controlling by his own Glee club members. FOX has released a clip from “Puppet Master” centered around that very student.
In the below video, Blaine performs Queen’s “You’re My Best Friend.” But even though he’s got the lead on this song, he’s not the only one taking part in the performance. As the episode title suggests, there are puppets involved — and Blaine receives some backup from puppet versions of Tina, Artie, Kitty, Unique and the rest of his fellow New Directions members.
There’s going to be four other songs featured in the episode. Click here to listen to the full tracks for “Nasty/Rhythm Nation,” “Cheek to Cheek,” “Into the Groove” and “The Fox.”
What do you think of Blaine’s rendition of “You’re My Best Friend”? Do you think the puppets made the whole thing ridiculous or are you looking forward to seeing them in “Puppet Master”?
Glee airs Thursdays at 9pm on FOX.
