A new milestone in some of our favorite McKinley High students’ lives is coming up soon. No, I’m not talking about the two-part 100th episode extravaganza, but rather that graduation is approaching for the current seniors.
In tonight’s episode, Tina, Sam and Blaine take part in a senior “lock-in” in the hopes of creating a memorable moment for themselves before departing high school. Unfortunately, Becky spoils everything by showing up.
Glee Episode 5.10 Songs: Rachel and Adam Lambert Perform “Barracuda” >>>
Over in New York, the feud between Rachel and Santana continues, and Adam Lambert’s character, Starchild, gets roped into the drama. But right now, the focus is on McKinley because FOX has released a clip from “Trio” that features the senior “lock-in.”
In the below video, Tina, Sam and Blaine (since Sam and Blaine are known together as Blam, what would this trio’s name be — Blamina? Blamtina?) perform Simple Minds’ “Don’t You (Forget About Me).”
Blaine is in his superhero costume, which is hilarious. Some of the shenanigans the trio take part in include using fire extinguishers to roll themselves down the hall, sneaking into Sue’s office and roller blading in the teachers’ lounge. Also, have you ever wanted to see Sam in a cheerleader’s outfit? Well, here’s your chance. It seems very random, but it’s humorous nonetheless.
Aside from “Don’t You (Forget About Me),” the six other songs that the cast will sing are “Danny’s Song,” “Barracuda,” “The Happening,” “Gloria,” “Hold On” and “Jumpin’ Jumpin’.”
What do you think of Tina, Sam and Blaine’s performance of the Simple Minds hit? Are you hoping to see more of their senior “lock-in” during the episode? (The big question is, will they get caught?) And did they not have a second male cheerleader’s uniform for Sam?
Glee airs Tuesdays at 8pm on FOX.
