Tonight, ABC Family will air the highly anticipated season finale of Greek. Helping to seal its first season is Charisma Carpenter, actress popularly known for playing Cordelia Chase on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and its spin-off series Angel.
In the season finale episode entitled “Black & White and Read All Over,” the whole campus will be engulfed with chaos and controversy when the entire Greek system, which includes sorority secrets and fraternity fraud, are revealed in a shocking college newspaper article. The brothers and sisters of Omega Chi, Zeta Beta Zeta, as well as Kappa Tau are raging to figure out who the undercover culprit could be. Meanwhile, after navigating some troubled waters with her boyfriend, Ashleigh (Amber Stevens) turns to Calvin (Paul James) for support and even goes so far as to hit on him, only to learn he has a secret.
As for Carpenter, she’ll be heading back to college as a national sorority representative who shows up to investigate a big, juicy scandal. According to Greek creator, Sean Smith, she’s might even reappear in season 2.
“She’s part Scully and part Cordelia,” Smith explained. “I’d love to have her back. ”
Apart from Carpenter, Alan Ruch (Spin City) and Jessica Rose, who is known for her recurring role on the show as Jen K, will also appear on the season 1 ender.
For the unfamiliar, Greek stars Jacob Zachar (Rusty), Spencer Grammer (Casey), Scott Michael Foster (Cappie), Jake McDorman (Evan), Clark Duke (Dale), Dilshad Vadsaria (Rebecca), Paul James (Calvin) and Amber Stevens (Ashleigh). Set at the fictitious Cyprus-Rhodes University, the teen drama centers on a group of college students in and out of the fraternity and sorority system.
Fans can catch up on previously aired episodes when the Greek marathon begins at 12 in the afternoon today. The season finale airs tonight, September 10 at 9pm ET/PT on ABC Family.
