The Troubles are going to continue in Haven for at least one more year. Today Syfy officially renewed Haven for a third season. The network has also scheduled special Christmas episodes for several of its big shows as well as premiere dates for 2012.
Haven season 3 comes after a big cliffhanger in season 2 with Audrey Parker being kidnapped. While fans will need to wait until 2012 to see what happened, the show is getting a special holiday-themed episode in December.
On Tuesday, December 6, Syfy will host a three-hour block of Christmas specials with new holiday episodes of Eureka, Warehouse 13 and Haven. In particular, Eureka will have an animated Christmas special with the voices of Emmy-winner Jim Parsons from The Big Bang Theory and Edward James Olmos from Battlestar Galactica and Dexter.
Syfy also set premiere dates for a number of shows in 2012. Season 2 of Being Human will begin on Monday, January 16 at 9pm, followed by the series premiere of Lost Girl, a Canadian series about a succubus.
For reality fans, Wednesday, January 11 brings the season 8 premiere of Ghost Hunters at 9pm and the second season of the movie make-up reality competition Face-Off at 10pm.
