Ok, so last week was the first part of this season’s special two-episode finale on House. Just the sight of Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) alone as she channeled little miss sexy schoolgirl pole dancer made up for the show’s all-too short season due to the writers’ strike.
Tonight is House‘s final broadcast for the season, featuring the second part of the finale, an episode entitled “Wilson’s Heart,” which follow’s last week’s “House’s Head.”
In last week’s installment, House (Hugh Laurie) was among the passengers of a bus that figured in an accident. While not seriously hurt, House did sustain head injuries that have left his memory foggy and bleak. To complicate matters, House firmly believes that one of his co-passengers is dying of a serious ailment and his memory loss renders him practically impotent to do anything about it.
In tonight’s season-ending offering, House is still struggling with his head injuries and their side effects on his ability to remember. He has no other choice but to hang on to the bits and pieces of flashbacks and images that provide little clues for House to figure out what’s wrong with the unfortunate patient.
In a storyline befitting another wallop of a House cliffhanger finale, the show has saved the best for last. The rivalry for “Wilson’s Heart“ between Amber and House reaches an highly charged emotional climax when House is faced with the dilemma of risking his own life in order to save hers. Faced with such a complex and difficult choice, the situation promises to test the bond between Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) and House to an extent like never before.
Don’t miss the second installment of the two-part season finale tonight on House. Apart from Laurie, Edelstein and Leonard, “Wilson’s Heart” features House‘s original team, Omar Epps as Dr. Eric Foreman, Jennifer Morrison as Dr. Allison Cameron and Jesse Spencer as Dr. Robert Chase, as well as newbies Peter Jacobson as Dr. Chris Taub, Kal Penn as Dr. Lawrence Kutner and Olivia Wilde as Thirteen.
“Wilson’s Heart” on House airs at tonight at 9.
