That’s right ladies, Kevin Jonas is engaged. That means there will only be two Jonas Brothers with purity rings left. At only 21 years-old, Kevin Jonas popped the question to his long time girlfriend Danielle Deleasa. Evidently, the couple has been together for two years.
So if you weren’t jealous enough, Kevin actually co-designed the ring with Jacob & Co.. Kevin popped the question right on her doorstep earlier this morning. They met in May of 2007 while in the Bahamas. She claimed to have no idea who he was when she met him. And the two younger brothers didn’t tip her off?
That’s not even the most bizarre part. What really gets me is that Danielle Deleasa, who is only 22, is a former hairdresser. Excuse me? Did she retire at 22? Is she doing something much less interesting now? Has Kevin been supporting her? I’m confused as to what is interesting about this girl. The oldest Jonas must really be in love.
Kevin’s parents Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr. released a statement saying, “Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle for her hand in marriage. Her answer was yes, and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date.”
In my mind, there are only two reasons to get married this young: 1. you have a purity ring you have to get rid of ifyaknowwhatimsayin or 2. bring out the shotguns. IF they rush this wedding and we see a baby in about nine months, you know it’ll be the latter. Unfortunately, I have too much faith in the Jonas Brothers’ morals to expect that sort of scandal. Looks like this Jonas Brother will be tossing his purity ring right quick!
