After weddings and reunions, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians clan went ahead with another big event – Kourtney Kardashian’s baby shower. People.com reports that the family celebrated it last Saturday in honor of the 30-year-old mother-to-be.
Over 80 guests attended the occasion, joining Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner and her children. Kim, newlywed Khloe, Kyle and Kendall were around to host the affair, which kicked off at noon. They had a little help with preparing the place though. The shower was organized by Los Angeles-based event planner Sharon Sacks and was held at the Kardashian home in Hidden Hills, California.
“It was a huge success,” a source exclaimed to the publication. Some of the well-wishers included Kris’ pal, Chelsea Lately writer and comedian Heather MacDonald, and Kim’s friend Brittny Gastineau of Tres Glam jewelry.
During the baby blue-themed party, the guests were treated to chocolate-covered strawberries from Studio City-based Berry Elegance. They were also given goodie bags to take home, filled with a number of items handpicked by the Kardashians and Sharon Sacks.
Everyone who attended received a Le Sport Sac weekender bag, which was filled with shirts and scarves, a gift card from Sheila Kelley S Factor, a glass tea set from Primula, an Alex & Ani expandable bracelet and a limited edition nail polish called “Little Baby Dash.” It’s obviously highlighting the Kardashian boutique featured in Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami.
Whether or not the baby shower features in Keeping Up with the Kardashians, it wouldn’t really matter. All of Kourtney’s fans are looking forward to the arrival of her son, who’s already a star even before he’s seen the light.
There’s just so much excitement going on for Kourtney Kardashian, but she’ll surely be even more thrilled when Christmas rolls by. The reality star’s baby, fathered by her boyfriend Scott Disick, is due this December, and the Kardashian clan just can’t wait for that time to come.
