Best known for his breakthrough role on MTV’s reality series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, Stephen Colletti became a teen idol as cameras followed his every move as he made friends, partied and showcased his roller coaster love affair with Kristin Cavallari.
Following his stint on Laguna Beach, Colletti was included in Teen People magazine’s Top Ten Most Beautiful Guy Stars of 2005 and was featured in Teen Vogue magazine’s Young Hollywood’s Up and Coming for 2005. Upon pursuing acting, he landed appearances on Punk’d, Cleats of Imminent Doom and the teen drama One Tree Hill as Chase Adams. He also hosted the New Year of music event on New Year’s Eve in Total Request Live’s Time Square studio.
Colletti continues his hosting gig at MTV’s Total Request Live. He also has an upcoming movie entitled Normal Adolescent Behavior where he plays Robert. Written and directed by Beth Schacter, the film is a drama-comedy about the world of friendship, random hookups and “friends with benefits.” The cast also includes Amber Tamblyn, Ashton Holmes, Kelli Garner, Hilarie Burton, Kelly Lynch, Daryl Sabra and Edward Tournier among others. The said film will be released in theaters this year.
