The multi-talented Nikki Cox expressed an interest in show business at an early age, making her debut dancing in the feature film Mac and Me. She was born on June 2, 1978 in Los Angeles, California, beginning her career dancing ballet on several productions and TV specials.
Making her first television appearance at the age of 10 on Mama’s Family, Nikki Cox had her breakthrough on the small screen came when she starred as Tiffany Malloy on Unhappily Ever After. During the late 1980s, she appeared on shows like Star Trek: The Next Generation and the TV film The Ryan White Story. In 1991, she accepted a small role in Murphy Brown and appeared on Terminator 2: Judgment Day. She continued her success with a number of guest roles, such as those in Eerie Indiana, four episodes of Blossom, an episode of Boy Meets World, The Nanny, General Hospital from 1993 to 1995 and Baywatch. When Unhappily Ever After left the airwaves, Nikki Cox portrayed the former prostitute Taylor Clayton on the sitcom The Norm Show. She starred in the series Nikki, a comedy that lasted for two seasons. She also managed to appear on the big screen, taking on roles in The Glimmer Man, The Nutty Professor II: The Klumps, the drama Don’s Plum and the comedy Run Ronnie Run. Cox was also cast in a recurring role on The Jake Effect, portraying the character Liza Wheeler for seven episodes. While filming, she was seen on one of her more famous roles. She was cast as the alluring ally to Josh Duhamel’s character, Danny McCoy, in the NBC series Las Vegas. She portrayed the character until 2007 before moving on to other projects. Cox took on the role of Nina Haley on Ghost Whisperer, and was cast in the film Lonely Street.
