ABC has announced premiere dates for its summer 2015 shows, including the return of The Bachelorette, Mistresses and Bachelor in Paradise, along with some new game shows and a new drama.
The network’s summer lineup will kick off on May 18 (as previously announced) with the season 11 premiere of The Bachelorette, in which there will be two bachelorettes — Britt and Kaitlyn — for the very first time.
Other returning shows include Celebrity Wife Swap on May 20 and Extreme Weight Loss on May 26, as well as dramas Mistresses (the first season without Alyssa Milano), Rookie Blue on June 25 and a two-night premiere for Bachelor in Paradise (August 2 and August 3)
ABC will be debuting some brand new series. Most of them are unscripted shows. The first is a game show called 500 Questions on May 20, right before Celebrity Wife Swap. Then there’s a six-episode celebrity version of Family Feud where the stars will be playing with their families for charity, and a revival of BattleBots, which originally aired on Comedy Central. This reality series will see homemade robots battling against each other, and is expected to also consist of six episodes.
The sole new drama is The Whispers, debuting on June 1, about children with an imaginary friend who might not be so imaginary and ends up putting everyone in danger.
