ABC Family announced its summer 2015 broadcasting schedule, with returning shows including Pretty Little Liars, Stitchers, Melissa & Joey, Baby Daddy, The Fosters and Becoming Us. Furthermore, the network announced its plans for several new series to fit in with its new target audience.

In a recent interview, ABC Family announced its plans to shift the network’s focus from family-based shows and double down on its successes with young adult series. Its target audience, which the network is calling “becomers.” is less about a certain generation as it is about a specific stage in young adults’ lives. With that in mind, here are the names of the new series ABC Family has announced the following new series to premiere later this summer (premiere dates TBD).

Job or No Job


This reality series will follow a different young adult each episode on their journey to find a new job. The prospective employee will go on a three different interviews throughout the episode and we’ll find out if they get between zero and three job offers.

Kevin From Work


This single-camera comedy is about a single, lovable young man named Kevin (Noah Reid) who can’t catch a break in his love life. After taking a job overseas and telling his co-worker Audrey (Paige Spara) that he’s in love with her before leaving, he finds out his job offer falls through. He now has to deal with the awkward task of continuing to work with a woman who knows he’s in love with her.

Monica the Medium


This new docu-series will follow a junior college student at Penn University who spends her nights working as a medium.

Startup U


Another new ABC Family docu-series, this show will revolve around a group of students in an entrepreneur mentoring program and their struggles to make it in Silicon Valley.
