Prison Break fans will have to wait a few extra weeks to sync up with Michael (Wentworth Miller) and Linc’s (Dominic Purcell) adventures south of the border. Fox announced it will be pushing all of its usual early starters into more traditional September time slots, including Prison Break. The show typically premieres in August, but after the strategy failed to translate into Fox’s other programming, the network decided to move the entire slate, including Prison Break, forward.

Fans have been in suspense since Prison Break‘s second season finale found Michael back in a different prison, and Linc free on the outside. The old ‘reversal of fortunes’ trick. Add to that the mysterious military scientists who seem to know something about the brothers’ propensity for escape, and we have essentially a whole new show.
The spoiler boards have been surprisingly quiet, with relatively few concrete tips on what the core of action will be through the third season. Early rumors suggest that the wretched Sona prison will be the center of much of the third season, so the show will at least begin to live up to its title again.
If you don’t want spoiler information, look away now! One thing that has circulated is suggestions that Mahone and Michael may form an alliance within the prison. While that may seem unbelievable given the past, look at the stakes they are up against. If they do link up, will they continue to work together once they make it to the outside?
As far as the cast gossip goes, somebody somewhere has a stop watch going on the last time Wentworth Miller was photographed out and about with a member of the opposite sex. He recently made comments meant to dispel the gay rumors that his dedication to the show was not leaving much time for any relationships, but he would ultimately like to settle down, with a woman, and have some children. The clock is ticking Wentworth.
