Fans of Project Runway know that, since the beginning, Tim Gunn has been such an integral element of what makes this reality competition series so successful.
We of course all love Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, Zac Posen and Michael Kors as well, but Gunn’s ability to mentor the contestants is a blast to watch each and every season.

BuddyTV spoke with Tim Gunn about Project Runway. Since season 12 just came to a close in October, he shared his thoughts on the winner, Dom, along with his favorite moment of the season (what part of the season did he call psychotic?) and which guest judge stands out to him the most.
We also talked about the All-Stars editions of Project Runway, the third installment of which is currently airing. Is Gunn a fan of bringing back previous contestants or does he not have any interest in this format? He doesn’t hold back in sharing his blunt opinion.
And he’s starting up his own show separate from Project Runway called Under the Gunn — which came about all because of a pact he made with Heidi Klum
