She’s Good at Playing Characters Who Kick-Ass
Chopra’s appeal definitely translates to the characters she plays on screen. On the terrorism thriller Quantico, she plays a tough yet alluring top recruit at the Academy who becomes a suspect in the bombing of Grand Central. She’s aggressive, she’s confident and she can do stunts. This is not Chopra’s first kick-ass role however. Prior to her TV acting debut, she played the titular character in the film Mary Kom, an Indian boxer who surpassed numerous challenges in order to become an Olympian. She also played a tough cabaret dancer on Gunday and a woman determined to seek revenge for her brother who was killed by a drug lord on Don 2.

This is already a given, after all Chopra has already won the Miss World title in 2000 and has often been cited as the world’s sexiest Asian woman. While there’s no doubt she has the face and the body to wow on camera, she’s also very pleasing to the eyes even when she’s covered in dirt or down with a fever.

As Alex Parrish, Chopra can hold her own and doesn’t take crap from anyone. She’s daring enough to hook up with a guy she just met in an airplane and sassy enough to call him out later in front of everyone when he pretends he just met her.

Besides earning the crowns of Miss India World, Miss World 2000 and Miss World Continental Queen of Beauty, she has made a name for herself in the Indian film industry, has participated in numerous stage productions, pursued a singing career and now takes the lead on the ABC series Quantico. Simultaneously, she also writes for Elle.com and endorses several brands.

Perhaps the most admirable thing about Chopra is that she’s more than just a pretty face. She took advantage of her fame by raising funds and supporting charities and was even appointed a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Child Rights.
