The results are in!  The 88th annual Academy Awards ceremony kicked off tonight at 8pm at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles with comedian Chris Rock, who returned as host amid the controversy over the lack of diversity among the Academy’s nominations. The Revenant was the front-runner of Hollywood’s biggest night of the year with 12 nominations. The film took home three awards, including Best Cinematography, Best Director, and Best Actor, marking Leonardo DiCaprio‘s first Oscar win.  Mad Max: Fury Road, on the other hand, was on fire as it bagged six awards out of 10 nominations.
