We're in the midst of November sweeps, which means it's time for shows to pull out big guest stars, big events and big, shocking cliffhangers. This week's special wedding episode of
Smallville will feature all three, which means it's definitely going to be a ceremony to remember. The season's tenth installment, fittingly titled "Bride," finds Lana (
Kristin Kreuk) returning to town to attend Chloe and Jimmy's wedding. Unfortunately, Doomsday also wants to crash the party, and he's definitely not on the guest list.
To get fans ready for tomorrow night's
Smallville, we have some clips from the episode.
The CW's official episode description reads: "Chloe (
Allison Mack) is excited that she's marrying Jimmy (
Aaron Ashmore). Meanwhile, Oliver (
Justin Hartley) tells Clark he thinks he's discovered where Lex is hiding and takes off to Cuba to confront him. However, when he arrives, Oliver is shocked to find Lana instead. Clark and Lois grow closer but chaos ensues when Doomsday crashes the wedding and tries to kidnap Chloe."
Jimmy is so confident that he's picked the right woman that he's free of wedding day jitters. In the first clip, he tries to convince Lois to attend the wedding with Clark, but I have a feeling Lana will get in the way. Also, why does
Erica Durance pronounce Ex-Lax as "Ex-Locks"?
The next clip shows an awkward moment between Clark (
Tom Welling) and Lois, which only gets more uncomfortable when Clark reads Jimmy's vows aloud. Lois thinks he's telling her he loves her, but he's really just reading a scrap of paper. Good job, Clark.
Davis (
Sam Witwer) has a bit of a crisis in the final clip. It seems that he's killed someone once again, and though he desperately needs Chloe's help she's not available. I think a kidnapping is in order.
The final
Smallville episode of 2008 airs Thursday at 8pm on the CW.
