Cat Deeley, host of So You Think You Can Dance, says now that she’s working in the US, “everyone notices” her crooked nose.

“You know what? My nose is crooked,” Deeley told In Style Magazine recently. “I’ve been on TV for 10 years in England and no one has mentioned it, but in Los Angeles everyone notices.”

She doesn’t rule out the possibility of having plastic surgery at some point, though she says she doesn’t have anything in particular in mind she’d like to fix.

“There’s no stigma attached to cosmetic surgery in Los Angeles. I’m OK at the moment. If something was making me unhappy I might, but I don’t know what it would be.”

“But,” says Deeley, it’s not important, as she feels that “if people are concentrating on your nose, they should be doing something else.”

Deeley told TV Guide last year that she “never, ever, ever” expected to be as successful in the US as she has found herself. “I hoped and I dreamed that So You Think You Can Dance would be successful, and I hoped that I would be a part of that success, but I never in my wildest dreams thought that it would be this much of a success.”

Deeley, 30, is a former model and MTV presenter, former host of a children’s series in the UK (for which she won a BAFTA Childrens’ Best Presenter Award in 2001), as well as being host or presenter of many other shows and specials. She’s also appeared as a presenter on the UK broadcast of American Idol, was an entertainment correspondent on The Tonight Show and Good Morning America, and a presenter on FOX’s New Year’s Eve from Times Square special.

Only one week until So You Think You Can Dance returns for a third season.
