Switched at Birth returns this summer for the conclusion of season 3. The premiere, “Love Among Ruins,” picks up the day after the winter finale when Bay comforted Emmett after he found out Matthew pretended to be his girlfriend. Complications ensue!

The Day After: Bay has to deal with the personal ramifications for sleeping with Emmett without protection and she goes to Daphne for help. Daphne tells her, “You and Emmett as teen parents is kinda freaking me out right now.”
Bay and Emmett: Bay struggles with what to do next. She cares about Emmett, but she’s dating Tank. Basically, she can’t believe she did to Tank what Emmett did to her and she doesn’t feel good about it.
Vanessa Marano (Bay) told reporters that Bay and Emmett’s reunion won’t be easy, “So there’s a little bit of a mess right now, but they’re together. They’re in the mess together”
Nice Guy Tank: Bay’s relationship problems get even worse when Tank does something to prove how much he cares about her and that he’s truly a nice guy. If she decides she wants to be with Emmett, can she break up with Nice Guy Tank?
Bully Not Be Gone: Matthew tortured Emmett with a fake girlfriend, beat him up and isn’t done. He continues to cause Emmett trouble in a very public way. Melody gets involved, but the situation gets out of control.
Threat By Brick: Someone throws a brick through Regina’s window in anger over her involvement with the East Riverside development project.
Marano teased, “In the premiere episode, Bay and Daphne team up to find the guy who threw the brick through the window in order to make peace with him so they know Regina is safe where she is. I don’t know if that’s going to go according to plan, but again, does it ever go according to plan?”
