With all the drama surrounding love searcher Jillian Harris, Wes Hayden and his alleged girlfriend Laurel Kagay, eliminated Bachelorette contestant Jake Pavelka has become quite a celebrity these days. Not only is he the guy who opened the can of worms and told Jillian about Wes’ shady intentions, but he’s also the guy whom fans are rooting for to be next Bachelor.
Since his elimination in the sixth episode of The Bachelorette, a lot of fans have shown their sympathy towards the heartbroken Jake. Not for long, many have eyed this “perfect guy” as the next love searcher of the ABC reality dating franchise and there’s even a petition out there to support him. The question is: Would Jake consider it?
“After seeing how the show works and how much love the producers have in their work, I would consider. It’s a terrific way to find somebody,” Jake said.
Now that Jake is open to being the next Bachelor, the next question fans have in mind is what type of girl he’s looking for. And according to the commercial pilot, he would go for girls that he wouldn’t normally date.
“I’ve dated a certain type of girl my whole life and that has kept me single. It’s something we’ve probably all dealt with: the girl that won’t call you back or that plays a lot of games. They’re a lot of fun, and they keep you on your toes, but it’s not the kind of girl that you end up marrying. I would date the girl that I’d possibly consider not my type,” he said.
Meanwhile, Jake reveals that he just wasn’t Jillian’s type
“I think she’s a doll face. I don’t have anything bad to say about her. I don’t think I was her type. I do believe I could have made her happy,” he said.
