The Good Wife season 4 has sure had its fair share of amazing guest stars and judging by the latest bit of casting news, it looks like that good luck is going to continue.

First up, we have news of a returning guest star. According to The Huffington Post, Gary Cole will be reprising his role as Kurt McVeigh (aka “The Marlboro Man”). No details have been released about why his character will return, but I’m guessing his visit is either going to make Diane really or happy, or cause her a lot of stress.

Next up, we have news of a sci fi fan favorite joining the cast for an episode. According to The Huffington Post, John Noble (who recently finished his run as the beloved Walter Bishop on FOX’s Fringe) will be making a guest appearance on the show as a man from Alicia’s past.

Julianna Margulies talked about Noble’s upcoming guest appearance, saying that he plays “a man that I have flashbacks [about]. He’s a client that I used to take care of all the time … He’s a very interesting character who is sort of a brilliant techie guy that constantly sues people.”

Margulies also added that Noble “elevated the part to such a different level.” She added, “It was remarkable to work with him and just a pleasure to have on set,” and that she was “blown away” by his talent.

Noble will appear in the 19th episode, which is expected to air sometime in March.

Finally, we have news of a Glee alum making a guest appearance on the show. According to TVLine, Jessalyn Gilsig will be playing a pivotal role episode 17 of season 4. Gilsig will play Jaine Ludwig, a character described as the “tough, smart and elegant” “grieving widow of an Illinois Supreme Court Justice who died in a car accident,” by series cocreator Michelle King. “Alicia and Will represent her at a Coroner’s Inquest when the insurance company tries to prove that they are not responsible for paying on the Judge’s insurance policy.”

Seems like every time we turn around, The Good Wife is announcing another fantastic guest star. What do you think of the news of Cole’s return and the new appearances of Noble and Gilsig. Whose appearance are you looking forward to seeing the most?

The Good Wife airs on Sunday nights at 9pm on CBS.
