It’s very possible that, when The Hills ends, Lauren Conrad will have lost all of her friends. Reality television brings out the ugly side of people, that’s for sure. Already, she has had a very public feud with Heidi Montag but also has stopped talking to Jen Bunney, her friend from Laguna Beach. On the current season of The Hills, she has started to have problems with Audrina Patridge, her friend and former roommate. Audrina moved out recently, though that has yet to play out on the television show. Fans blamed Lauren “Lo” Bosworth, who lived with the two friends. She often caused drama and tension but it seems there are other factors at work here. Hills fans need not wonder any longer – Lauren posted a MySpace blog today explaining what the problem is … or isn’t.
In her blog, Lauren says that someone has been contacting Perez Hilton with false information on more than one occasion. She doesn’t say who she thinks the culprit is, but one could assume that she’s pointing fingers at Spencer Pratt, especially based on the following description: “Who is someone that I do not get along with, that possibly has too much time on his hands (between pathetically staged paparazzi shots), that has a relationship with Perez?” Sounds like Spencer to us!
On to the juicy part: The “source” told Perez that Lauren hooked up with Audrina’s scruffy on again, off again boyfriend Justin Bobby. Not true, says Lauren, adding an “eww” along with it. She defends herself saying, “This accusation is insulting on so many levels. I’m being accused of being a bad friend, a slut and a liar all at once. It would actually be funny to me if people weren’t taking it seriously.”
Lauren finishes up her blog, by addressing Audrina personally, in the hopes that she reads it. Considering the press it’s getting, it would be surprising if Audrina did not see or read it. Lauren and Audrina made a promise to each other that they wouldn’t let anything come between us. She blames the fact that she’s publicly being attacked on Audrina, especially since she promised her that she did not hook up with Justin Bobby.
