On the last episode of The Office, the employees of Dunder Mifflin Scranton celebrated Valentine’s Day by participating in a blood drive (where we found out Dwight’s (Rainn Wilson) special talent). The happily coupled people in the office, Jim (John Krasinski), Pam (Jenna Fischer), and Phyllis (Phyllis Smith), had a little lunch, while Michael (Steve Carell) decided to hold a little Valentine’s mixer to help the romantic tragedies that are a majority of the employees.
They even had a little session in which they gathered around in a circle and retold their worst heartbreaks. In between Angela (Angela Kinsey) recalling two other guys dueling for her affections and Kevin (Brian Baumgartner) remembering his ex-fiancée leaving him over breakfast, someone mentioned that Andy (Ed Helms) was honeymooning by himself.
Andy recently posted pictures of his solitary honeymoon trips on their wedding blog, which he chose to maintain despite the Dwight-Angela incident, just because he “wanted all my bros and bras in cyberspace to know that the Ol’ Nard Dog is doing just fine.”
Andy’s itinerary included Napa Valley, the Bahamas, and Walt Disney World. He apparently enjoyed Napa Valley, even though he conceded that the hot air balloon ride was “stark and depressing.” For the couple’s massage he booked, he got the extra masseuse to work on his masseuse while his masseuse worked on him. Meanwhile, in the Bahamas, he allegedly met a lot of beautiful girls, although the cocktails turned out to be “a little too authentic.” Finally, he found a “mouse” in the lobby of Disney’s All-Star Music Resort in Orlando by the name of Mickey.
“So far, this was the best solo honeymoon of my life!” he writes.
Andy broke off his engagement with Angela when he found out that she’s having an affair with Dwight.
