Here’s what’s new in the Bravo merry-go-round of the Real Housewives these days:
Moving Up and Moving Out
Could Teresa Giudice of Real Housewives of New Jersey possibly be getting her way by ridding herself of her problematic sister-in-law and co-star? Melissa Gorga and husband Joe Gorga have put their six bedroom, seven bath New Jersey mansion up for sale.
The home that Joe Gorga had custom-built for his family is listed for $3.8 million and includes a library, a home theater, and of course Melissa’s basement recording studio. Not to worry RHONJ fans, Melissa tweeted that they’re only planning on moving as far as Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, not to LA where she was rumored to go to further her singing career. So much for Teresa getting her way.
Let the Casting Rumors Begin
Now that Sheree Whitfield has taken her leave of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Bravo is already eagerly looking for another Atlanta hottie to join the show. According E! Online, the first rumored replacement is the former actress and the 1993 Miss USA Kenya Moore.
While Bravo hasn’t confirmed that Kenya has joined the cast, her rep told E! that she has settled into a new home in the Atlanta area and she is “excited about the move and all the possibilities the future holds for her career and personal life.” Well let’s hope for her sake that if she’s already run into Miss NeNe Leakes, she gets on her good side.
New Normal
Speaking of NeNe, it looks like the Ryan Murphy directed sitcom she was cast in, The New Normal , has already been picked up for NBC’s pilot season. NeNe will star in a recurring role as the neighbor, Rocky, of a gay family using a surrogate to conceive a child. Does this mean the end of NeNe as an Atlanta housewife? If that’s the case, Bravo better get on casting yet another replacement.
Soap Star
You heard about Alexis getting an acting gig on General Hospital, but did you miss the Real Housewives of Orange County star’s debut? Don’t worry, we got you covered:
