It looks like Porsha Williams of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is walking away empty handed from her divorce with former NFL player Kordell Stewart, according to TMZ.
In March, 2013, Porsha allegedly learned that her husband was filing for divorce after less than two years of marriage, from Twitter. A year later, Porsha won’t be getting a single dollar in alimony or any of Kordell’s real estate in their divorce.
Porsha often mentioned that she hadn’t signed a prenup before the two were married. She also spent a lot of time buying expensive clothes, shoes and even a house on camera this season.
Porsha does get to keep all of the belongings (clothes, shoes, car) that she accumulated while they were married.
Although she’s walking away with nothing, Porsha is optimistic about her future.
“I’m just having a good time right now,” she told Bravo. “I’m having fun, feeling free-spirited. Some [men] are getting more attention than others, however I’m keeping my options open.”
She recently squashed rumors that she was dating Teodoro Ngeuma Obiang Mangue, son of the President of Equatorial Guinea (and known dictator), Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo. TMZ reported yesterday that Mangue had been showering her with expensive gifts, including a Rolls Royce, Loubotin shoes, and diamonds that Porsha posted on her Instagram (the photos have since been deleted).
President Mbasogo is known to be one of Africa’s most corrupt rulers, known for “pillaging his own country’s oil wealth while its people live in abject poverty.” But Porsha claims that the rumors are untrue.
“The TMZ report is completely false,” Porsha told E! News. “I do not know Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, nor have I ever dated him. When there is someone special in my life whom I wish to share I will let you all know. It has been rumored that I am dating many people.”
For now, Porsha is focusing on her music career and the upcoming release of her single, “Flatline.”
