Money Can’t Buy You a Husband

According to Bravo, The Real Housewives of New York City star (and former Countess) LuAnn de Lesseps and her boyfriend, Jacques Azoulay, have broken up. The couple had been dating for four years after LuAnn’s marriage to The Count ended in 2009.

“They are at different points in their life now and have mutually agreed it’s best,” LuAnn’s rep said in a statement. “LuAnn is upset, but it’s amicable and they remain friends. Jacques has been a wonderful part of her life.”

Last season, LuAnn’s storyline mainly revolved around her seeing a number of specialists to try and have a baby with Jacques. But their baby plans were put on hold after LuAnn may have had a wild night in St. Barths with a Johnny Depp look-alike, which she of course vehemently denied.

Mo’ Manzo, Mo’ Problems

Caroline Manzo of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is the most recent housewife to get the spin-off treatment, and she didn’t even have to get married to do so. Bravo has green-lit a pilot about Caroline and her family tentatively called Manzo’d with Children.

Of course, Caroline’s grown children, Albie, Chris and Lauren, will join Caroline and her husband, Al, to display their “crowded house filled with personality, laughter and ham … in both pig and honey-baked forms.”

OC Axe

Bad news for both Alexis Bellino and Gretchen Rossi of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Star Magazine is reporting that both of them have been fired and won’t be a part of the cast next season.

According to their source, Bravo was not happy with the lack of storyline revolving around either one of them. They also suspected, as did Gretchen’s castmates, that Gretchen completely staged her engagement to Slade for the cameras.

The source also claimed that they tried to get rid of Alexis before season 8 (which would align with a lot of last year’s rumors) but had to bring her back when a new housewife suddenly dropped out at the last minute.

There is no official word from Bravo as of yet.
