It seems another Real Housewives marriage is heading toward Splitsville. Ramona Singer and her husband, Mario Singer, of The Real Housewives of New York City have separated after 27 years of marriage, according to E! News.

The news of their split comes only a few days after the police were called to their Southampton home this weekend to intervene in a domestic dispute, according to the New York Post.

“Ramona kicked Mario out of the Manhattan apartment in the last few days,” a source told the Post. “But the understanding was that he could stay in the Southampton house.”

But on Friday night, Ramona ended up being home at the same time that Mario and his new girlfriend were there. A scuffle ensued where Ramona claims that Mario choked her so she called the cops.

Other sources at the scene insist that nothing got physical, and that Ramona calmed down so much by the time the cops got there that she offered the officers “a glass of wine.” The officers evidently declined her offer and left without pressing charges.

Their marriage had been on the rocks (as far as the public knows) since October when the New York Post ran a story about Mario getting his mistress pregnant and then paying for her abortion. Ramona claimed that the whole story was simply “not true” at the time.

Since then, Mario, 60, has been rumored to be dating 27-year-old Kasey Dexter, who was with him the night of the incident in Southampton. Ramona, too, has been spotted on what looked like romantic outings with much younger men.

Ramona and Mario have one daughter together, Avery, 19, whose departure for college will be one of Ramona’s storylines on the upcoming sixth season of RHONYC.
