The much awaited Founder’s Day Gala happens tonight on The Vampire Diaries and you’re all invited to witness the turbulent events surrounding the beauty pageant that puts Elena and Caroline against each other and other girls from town, including Tina Fell (guest star Autumn Dial) and Amber Bradley (guest star Spencer Locke), for the title of “Miss Mystic Falls.”

While all eyes are on Elena and Damon, who steps up to be Elena’s escort, and on the possibility of their budding romance, Stefan is busy struggling to control his hunger for human blood. Resisting temptation, however, is easier said than done because Stefan seemingly does something that will not just affect his relationship with Elena but the whole town as well.
Meanwhile, Bonnie is back in Mystic Falls after dealing with the death of Grams but she clearly still has a lot of issues to work through, including her friendship with Elena. Then we see the mysterious John Gilbert (guest star David Anders) once again as he tries to threaten Damon. But will his plan work?
