Esai Morales was noted for his role as Agent Michael Tyner on the short-lived Fox drama Vanished. He was the head of the FBI’s Atlanta headquarters and served to oversee the investigation of Sara Collins. However, in the plot twist in the series’ last episode, it was revealed that he had been part of the Masonic group after Sara.
Following Vanished, Morales became part of the short film called The Tehuacan Project, in which Brad Pitt was one of the producers. He was also part of the 2007 all-star benefit reading of “The Gift of Peace” at UCLA’s Freud Playhouse, alongside actors Ed Asner, Barbara Bain, Amy Brenneman, George Coe, Wendie Malick, and James Pickens, Jr.
Morales will be starring in Kill Kill Faster Faster, a film directed by Gareth Maxwell Roberts. The movie, which has already finished shooting, is about an ex-con who has decided to adapt the play he wrote during his prison sentence for the silver screen. However, he falls in love with his new friend’s ex-con wife and enters into a disastrous affair. On television, he will be part of the pilot The Cure, which is a drama about a group of medical activists that are dedicated to help people who are in need in spite of medical bureaucratic red tape. He stars as Jorge and is joined by other cast members such as Garcelle Beauvais, Anson Mount, Chloe Moretz, and Darlebe Vogel. Currently, he is under negotiations to star in a film called The Koi Keeper for the role of Stan Loyola. The said movie is about a 17-year old girl who develops an erotic attraction with a stranger without knowing that he holds the key to her past.
