Biography
English actor Hugo Speer was born on March 16, 1969 in Harrogate, Yorkshire. Deciding to embark on an acting career, he trained at The Arts Educational School. Since then, he has had numerous roles and has even branched out to directing a short film called MAM.
Hugo Speer started out by appearing on the series The Bill. He then played a small role in the film Bhaji on the Beach, but he became known for his performance in The Full Monty. Since then, he was spotted on Deathwatch, The Interpreter, and TV movies like Love Lies Bleeding and The Debt. On the small screen, he has worked on shows such as the sitcom Men Behaving Badly, Heartbeat, the fourth series of Skins, and Bedlam. He was also in the mini-series Bleak House and in the drama Sorted.
