Tracy Vilar was born on April 12, 1968, in New York City. She has had a meaningful career, acting in different feature films like K-Pax, Gone in 60 Seconds, Double Jeopardy, and Crooklyn. As a comedic actress, she has been a valuable part of the WB network, appearing as Sophia Ortiz on The Steve Harvey Show and Rosa on the short-lived sitcom First Time Out. Vilar has also starred in and written for the Oxygen series, Ripe Tomatoes. Tracy’s comedic talents have earned her some critical recognition, one for her work on The Steve Harvey Show and the other a Nosotros Golden Eagle Award for Most Promising Actress. What’s keeping Vilar busy now is the TNT drama, Saved.
Angela de la Cruz, on the show Saved, is portrayed by Tracy Vilar. Confident and extremely serious about being a paramedic, Angela de la Cruz has little patience for cockiness, lack of discipline, and incompetence. Unfortunately, she has to spend most of her days making sure that the new EMT Harper Sims, who seems to be inexperienced and unsure, gets the job right and on time. Growing up in a house full of brothers certainly has taught her how to speak her mind.
