Their performance was a bit off. It was full of energy, but they didn’t have their normal synergy with each other. They appeared to be a step behind through parts of the routine.

#17 Amy Yakima and Du-shaunt “Fik-shun” Stegall

My favorite pairing of the season and they ended with a strong and dramatic tango. The lifts stood out. Fik-shun may not have been technically perfect, but he’s always a joy to watch. Amy continued to show she’s a flawless dancer. It was a difficult routine, but enjoyable.

#16 Aaron Turner and Melinda Sullivan

Style: Tap
Song : “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars

It was a great tap routine. I found the musical choice to be distracting, especially at the beginning. That hindered my overall enjoyment, but the way they played off each other was well done.

This Broadway routine allowed fans to compare and contrast Fik-shun and Aaron’s personality and stage presence. Aaron may have better technique at times, but Fik-shun steals the stage. It was one of the better Broadway routines of the season.

Gorgeous. Fik-shun shined in this contemporary performance. He could easily have been overshadowed by Jasmine, but wasn’t. The choreography worked well for the pair.
