Episode 1 - Test 1/20/1994 Edit details Here's the skinny on the Season 5 opener: The Dunder Mifflin staffers participate in a weight-loss program, only to become overly consumed with shedding pounds. Elsewhere, Michael works on building a friendship (and more?) with the new HR worker (Amy Ryan). And Pam attends art school in New York, leaving behind a pining Jim.

Episode 2 - Sneak Peek: Business Ethics 10/1/2008 Edit details For Michael and Holly, entertainment is paramount to a successful meeting

Episode 1 - Fun Run 9/27/2007 Edit details Michael gets into a tiff with Meredith after he accidentally hits her with his car just outside the office. To make up for it, Michael launches the “Michael Scott’s Dunder Mifflin Scranton Meredith Palmer Celebrity Rabies Awareness Pro-Am Fun Race for the Cure.” His employees, however, are not too keen on the proposal, yet he is eventually forgiven by Meredith. Meanwhile, Dwight blunders on a task assigned to her by girlfriend Angela of taking care of her cat. He accidentally kills the cat and the two break up.

Episode 2 - Dunder Mifflin Infinity 10/4/2007 Edit details After announcing that they are dating to the camera crew on the last episode, Jim and Pam’s relationships are revealed to the rest of the office staff. Meanwhile, upon his return to Dunder Mifflin Scranton, Ryan introduces a program to use technology to invigorate activity in the company. Michael disagrees and says that improving personal relationship between the staff is still more important than any new office technology. He devises a plan to use gift baskets to win former clients back to no avail. He proceeds to crash his car into a lake after failing to use his car’s GPS.

Episode 3 - Launch Party 10/11/2007 Edit details Still as part of the new Dunder Mifflin Infinity program, Ryan spearheads the hosting of a party where a company-wide video chat room will be shot for the program’s website. Still adamant in proving that the human touch can beat new technology, Dwight shows off to Angela by beating the new computer in terms of sales. During the party, Dwight and Michael holds a pizza delivery boy hostage, and Michael ends up being humiliated by Ryan in full view of all the Dunder Mifflin branches.

Episode 4 - Money 10/18/2007 Edit details After Jan moves in with him and tries to renovate their condo, Michael rethinks his financial standing. He starts leaving work early to be able to take on a night job as a telemarketer. When Ryan finds out, however, he wants Michael to quit, who worries on how he can continue to support Jan. fortunately, she understands and tells him that they will find a way to make it work. Meanwhile, a discordant and depressed Dwight continues to pin over Angela.

Episode 5 - Local Ad 10/25/2007 Edit details As part of the Dunder Mifflin Infinity program, Michael produces a commercial starring the staff of Dunder Mifflin Scranton office. This, however, was rejected by the corporate office. The commercial, however, is well applauded by the employees and customers, when it is played in a bar. Meanwhile, as Andy and Angela continue to get more and more intimate, Dwight sinks further into depression.

Episode 6 - Branch Wars 11/1/2007 Edit details After being transferred to the Utica office, Karen attempts to pirate Stanley from Dunder Mifflin Scranton. Finding out, Michael and Jim decide to play a prank on her. This only aggravates the situation when Karen finds out about their plan. When she discovers that Jim and Pam are dating, she gets even more furious. Meanwhile, Michael bids goodbye to Stanley, who reveals that he has decided to stay.

Episode 7 - Survivor Man 11/8/2007 Edit details Michael feels left out after he was not invited to a company wilderness retreat. Wanting to prove that he is an outdoorsy guy himself, he sets out and instructs Dwight to leave him in the middle of a forest. Just as he is to eat a poisonous mushroom, however, Dwight leaps out of no where to prevent him from doing so. Meanwhile, back at the office, Jim prepares to hold a combined celebration for four staff members whose birthdays fall on that particular month. When this is not received well by the staff, he resorts to go back to doing things the old-fashion way, that is, holding individual parties.

Episode 8 - The Deposition 11/15/2007 Edit details When her girlfriend Jan sues the company for wrongful termination, Michael is stuck in the middle. While Jan has a valid case on hand, Michael’s meddling actually gives Dunder Mifflin the upper hand. Ultimately, when faced to choose between loyalty to Jan or loyalty to the company, Michael chooses the company, but not without suffering serious blows to his ego. Meanwhile, a ping pong craze hits the office when a ping-pong table is brought in by the warehouse guys.

Episode 9 - Dinner Party 4/10/2008 Edit details Michael and Jan invite several officemates over for a party, namely Jim, Pam, Andy, and Angela. Things begin to heat up, however, when an argument arises between the hosts about having kids. As their guests try to find their own ways of escaping the doomed affair, a neighbor calls the police, and Michael eventually storms out of the condo.

Episode 10 - Chair Model 4/17/2008 Edit details After the disastrous dinner party that had him leaving Jan, Michael ponders on his quest of ever finding a soulmate. He sees a catalog model advertising a chair and Dwight embarks to find her. Meanwhile, Michael decides to start dating again and for starters he ends up going out with Pam’s landlady. The date, however, does not go so well.

Episode 11 - Night Out 4/24/2008 Edit details Michael and Dwight set out for New York to surprise Ryan in a night of clubbing, where Dwight works out his charms and they find out that Ryan dabbles with cocaine. Meanwhile, back in Scranton, Ryan’s website project needs the employees to come in on Saturday, and they are not amused. To remedy the problem and avoid working on a weekend, Jim suggests that they work late instead. Unfortunately, they find themselves locked on the office parking lot but outside the office. After making his liking for Pam known, Toby announces that he will be moving to Costa Rica.

Episode 12 - Did I Stutter? 5/1/2008 Edit details After Stanley shows some attitude during an office meeting, Michael pretends to fire him to remedy his supposed attitude problem. This, however, backfires. Jim, meanwhile, is reprimanded for a mediocre performance at work. Still pining over Angela, Dwight, proceeds to buy Andy’s car and flips it for a much higher price.

Episode 13 - Job Fair 5/20/2008 Edit details Still reeling from the performance warning he got from Ryan, Jim tries his best to bag his biggest client ever by initiating a golf game with Kevin and Andy with a prospective client. Meanwhile, Michael, Pam, Oscar, and Darryl set up a booth at a job fair in Pam’s high school to look for possible candidates for summer internship at Dunder Mifflin Scranton, but they end up empty-handed mostly because Michael ends up insulting all the candidates. Left at the office, Dwight and Angela have an awkward day at the office, while Pam is on a lookout for graphic arts opportunities outside her current job.

Episode 14 - Goodbye, Toby 5/14/2008 Edit details It is Toby’s last day at the office as he is going to Costa Rica. Ecstatic over the news, Michael throws in more funds for the going away party but at the same time demands ridiculously impossible things, such as an anti-gravity machine from the organizer Angela. She quits and Phyllis takes over. Michael, meanwhile, falls in love with Toby’s replacement, Holly. On other twists, Jan returns from Arizona pregnant, Ryan is busted for defrauding the company, Andy bungles a proposal from Jim, and Angela and Dwight are caught having sex.

Episode 1 - Gay Witch Hunt 9/21/2006 Edit details On the heels of Casino Night, Michael inadvertently outs a gay employee; Jim adjusts to his promotion, new office, and life without Pam.

Episode 2 - The Convention 9/28/2006 Edit details Michael takes Dwight in a trip to Philadelphia to attend an important office supply convention. Following his encounter with Jan, Michael ten plans to celebrate by throwing a party in his room with fellow convention attendees. Ryan, on the other hand, keeps himself busy with a double date with Gabby Kelly.

Episode 3 - The Coup 10/5/2006 Edit details Angela straps on her power gear after getting offended by Michael's crazy tricks and failing leadership. She turns to Dwight for help to take Michael's job for herself, while Pam organizes a lunchtime fashion show. Meanwhile, Jim gets engrossed in a deadly video game.

Episode 4 - Grief Counseling 10/12/2006 Edit details Michael's predecessor passes, and being the gentleman that he is, he decides to do something noble about it. He proceeds to assist his staff through the grieving process and later honors the man who dedicated his life to the company.

Episode 5 - Initiation 10/19/2006 Edit details Dwight takes matters into his hands to train the new full-time employee, Ryan. Dwight puts Ryan through grueling tasks, including his first sales call, and pays an unnecessary visit to the Schrute family beet farm. Michael, on the other hand, is forced by corporate to log his work activity while Jim deals with working at the Stamford branch.

Episode 6 - Diwali 11/2/2006 Edit details Michael says that he was highly influenced by the Indian culture and flavors at the Hindu Festival of Lights celebration, adding that his desk jockeys actually support Kelly. Meanwhile, the rest of the Stamford branch employees engage in a drinking game.

Episode 7 - Branch Closing 11/9/2006 Edit details Scranton employees get depressed over the news that the branch is closing down, while Michael exerts efforts to cheer them up. Nonetheless, the employees are beginning to wonder how life will be following the branch closing.

Episode 8 - The Merger 11/16/2006 Edit details Instead of shutting down, the Scranton branch encounters a merger. Employees are then forced to face the difficulties of having to adapt to the corporate changes that take place.

Episode 9 - The Convict 11/30/2006 Edit details Michael learns that the new employee is an ex-convict! He gets even more frazzled when his employees begin comparing the office to a real prison. Andy, on the other hand, surprisingly gets help from Jim to win Pam over.

Episode 10 - A Benihana Christmas 12/14/2006 Edit details The Christmas party planning committees get into a conflict, thus resulting to two Christmas parties being planned. Meanwhile, Michael's girlfriend breaks up with him. He then goes out to drink with Jim, Andy and Dwight.

Episode 11 - Back from Vacation 1/4/2007 Edit details Fresh from a nice vacation in Jamaica, Michael heads back to the office. However, his good mood gets ruined after a controversial vacation photo does the rounds in the office. Meanwhile, Jim and Karen get into a conflict, leaving Pam caught in the middle of it.

Episode 12 - Traveling Salesmen 1/11/2007 Edit details Michaels sets his desk jockeys and heads down the road for sales call duty while Angela misses an important deadline. Her secret boyfriend, Dwight then tries to cover up for her, while Karen gets caught off guard after hearing surprising news.

Episode 13 - The Return 1/18/2007 Edit details After coming home from vacation, Oscar ponders about his future at the office. Andy, on the other hand, craves for power and tries to exploit recent events to get closer to Michael. Finally, Jim gets Pam and Karen to trick someone in the office.

Episode 14 - Ben Franklin 2/1/2007 Edit details Michael asks advice from his buddy Todd Packer in order to celebrate Phyllis wedding shower, to which he brought Ben Franklin and a stripper. Meanwhile, Karen confronts Pam about her romantic past with Jim.

Episode 15 - Phyllis' Wedding 2/8/2007 Edit details The gang takes part in preparing for Phyllis' wedding, but she soon regrets letting Michael take care of an important job at the event, after things go terribly wrong. Phyllis' decorations make Pam reminisce about her own aborted wedding, while Dwight is on the lookout for wedding crashers.

Episode 16 - Business School 2/15/2007 Edit details Michael gets invited as a guest speaker at Ryan's business school. While at the office, Dwight desperately tries to catch a bat while Pam invites her co-employees to her first art exhibit.

Episode 17 - Cocktails 2/22/2007 Edit details Michael and Jan attend a party held at the house of one of Dunder Mifflin's executives. The two finally exposed their hidden romance, while Jim meets Karen's ex. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang are on a high as they go on a booze trip.

Episode 18 - The Negotiation 4/5/2007 Edit details Darryl confronts Michael about salary increase, thus making Michael have some thoughts on his own pay. Pam's confesses to Roy, leaving Jim slightly disturbed.

Episode 19 - Safety Training 4/12/2007 Edit details It's safety-training day at Dunder-Mifflin, and Michael and Dwight make it a point to increase awareness on all workplace dangers to the employees. Andy, on the other hand, returns to the office with a positive outlook following his anger management training.
