Show creator William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell have always focused on the fictional version of Genoa City, Wisconsin, a town near their annual vacation home in Lake Geneva, for their daytime drama series The Young and the Restless. Soon, however, they'll be presenting viewers with a change of scenery as they bring the show to Paris, France.
The Young and the Restless will be shooting in Paris for the soap's first-ever, on-location shoot in the City of Lights, in line with the program's upcoming 20th anniversary in France. And while the specific actors participating in the Parisian storyline are yet to be confirmed, the week of filming is scheduled for October this year.
