The final pre-strike episode of NBC’s Emmy-nominated comedy series, 30 Rock, is airing this week. According to NBC, Thursday’s broadcast will follow Jack (Alec Baldwin) as he tries to make his long-distance relationship with C.C. (guest star Edie Falco) work, while Liz (Tina Fey) tries her hand in real estate.

According to Spoiler TV, Jack and C.C. continue their long-distance relationship by having rendezvous in different cities.  Also, in an effort to close a deal on the purchase of the biggest cable network in North America, Jack meets with television executives from Germany.

Meanwhile, an inspired Liz takes it upon herself to invest in some real estate, but has to face a co-op board to fight for the apartment she loves.  The staff of TGS with Tracy Jordan receives a cappuccino machine from Tracy (Tracy Morgan).  Tracy puts the machine on Kenneth’s (Jack McBrayer) desk. Kenneth, who deems hot liquids as “the devil’s temperature,” tries coffee for the first time, and immediately develops an addiction.

Aside from Falco, this week’s 30 Rock also features singer-actress Gladys Knight as a guest star.

Jane Krakowski (Jenna Maroney), Judah Friedlander (Frank Rossitano), Lonny Ross (Josh Girard), Keith Powell (Toofer Spurlock), Katrina Bowden (Cerie) and Maulik Pancholy (Jonathan) also star.

After 30 Rock‘s broadcast on Thursday, which could potentially be the last one for the 2007-08 television season, viewers will have to wait until the strike is over before they can enjoy new episodes of the program.  In the meantime, fans can try spotting their favorite show stars in other media.  Tina Fey, for one, is currently featured in the February issue of CosmoGIRL!, where she talks about her long and hard journey in the industry, from taking nightly improv classes in Chicago to appearing regularly on NBC’s Saturday Night Live, a job that did not go all too well in the beginning.

“For my first show at SNL, I wrote a Bill Clinton sketch, and during our read-through, it wasn’t getting any laughs,” Tina Fey told CosmoGIRL!.  “This weight of embarrassment came over me, and I felt like I was sweating from my spine out.  But I realized, ‘Okay, that happened, and I did not die.’  You’ve got to experience failure to understand that you can survive it.”
