An insider has revealed to People.com that Jacqueline Laurita has decided to leave The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Tensions have been running high on the series and behind the scenes, as evidenced by the star’s Twitter account.
According to reports, Jacqueline Laurita has hinted departing from the show for good. She didn’t even want to show up for the season 3 reunion because she felt “nauseous and feverish” that night. But she also teased that there was suspicious activity going on among the cast.
“Someone (not me) got set up tonight. There are some sneaky people trying to make someone look bad & then play innocent on camera. Sad,” the Real Housewives of New Jersey star wrote.
While it was believed that she still had the patience to go on with the show, Laurita finally admitted on her Twitter: “I can’t be part of the Charade anymore. It’s unsettling. It’s disturbing & against what I stand for. I’m a REAL housewife.”
It all led to the report that Jacqueline Laurita has definitely turned her back on the series, mostly because of the conflicts that have arisen among her fellow cast members. Teresa Giudice, on the other hand, said she didn’t want a fight.
“I don’t even wanna go there b/c I don’t fight on twitter not w/ fans, not haters, not w/ mean RTs & def not w/ a friend (ahem) or my family!” Giudice tweeted.
On Wednesday, she added: The rumors are getting ridiculous. Let’s get this straight: I LOVE my WHOLE family. Would never do anything to hurt them.”
Meanwhile, Laurita went on to say: “There is no real love there. Things aren’t always what they seem. SOME people live a different life OFF camera then they do on. (ahem)”
Soon enough, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star made her decision: “I’d like to only focus on positive things now please. I threw the trash out. I’m cleaning now and reorganizing. Starting fresh and new.”
As for the network, Bravo executives had no comment regarding the matter. The official announcement of Jacqueline Laurita’s departure has not been given so far.
