On the most recent season of The Bachelor, Brad Womack was left with two amazing women to choose from. In one corner was Jenni Croft, the dancer from Kansas with the infectious laugh. In the other was DeAnna Pappas, the realtor from Georgia with the big heart. Brad shocked both women and the country when he decided not to pick either up them, dumping them one at a time on the season finale. Since then, several rumors have flown that Brad was still talking to his ex while filming The Bachelor, perhaps affecting his final decision. He certainly broke DeAnna’s heart, who had no problem letting him know that on the After The Final Rose special. The good news is that today, DeAnna has moved on and ABC has announced her as its newest Bachelorette!

DeAnna is an assertive and independent woman. As a young girl, she faced tragedy when she lost her mother, a moment in her life she talks openly about. She loves the outdoors, cooking, and traveling. In fact, she has traveled extensively all over Europe.
Now, all DeAnna needs is Mr. Right, one that won’t leave her standing in the middle of a garden on finale night. ABC is looking for a group of interested and eligible men to compete for DeAnna’s heart. Information can be found on ABC’s website by going to keyword: casting or by calling the casting hotline at 866-739-3150. DeAnna will certainly have her hands full – the show is looking for 25 men to be part of the new season of The Bachelorette!
This will mark the fourth season of the show, with Chris Harrison returning as host. Previous Bachelorettes include: Trista Rehn, Meredith Phillips, and Jen Schefft. Perhaps DeAnna will have better luck on her spinoff. After all, Trista Rehn is the only woman in Bachelor/Bachelorette history to find true, lasting love!
