After setting the premiere date of The Bachelor season 18 on January 6 at 8pm, ABC has released a new poster featuring new love searcher Juan Pablo Galavis and refers to January as Juan-uary.
Juan Pablo first made his reality TV debut on The Bachelorette season 9, where he competed for the heart of Desiree Hartsock. The singer dad, however, was sent home in week 6 after his group date with Desiree in Spain.
Bachelor fans could get to know more about the former professional soccer player as ABC airs an hour-long special called The Bachelor: Countdown to Juan Pablo on Sunday, January 5. This will shed light on Juan Pablo’s life in Miami with his 4-year-old daughter Camila, and give a sneak peek at some of the ladies who would be vying for his attention.
But that’s not all Juan-uary has to offer. The network will also feature The Bachelor: Behind the Scenes special on January 12, featuring fans’ viewing parties. It will also take viewers to the production process of Juan Pablo’s “winter wonderland” fantasy date. Meanwhile, a special called The Bachelor Love Stories on January 19 will be dedicated to the franchise’s all-time favorite couples, including Desiree and Chris, Jason and Molly, and Trista and Ryan, who will be celebrating their 10th anniversary with a vow renewal ceremony.
Last but not the least, viewers will be invited to Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici’s big day on Sunday, January 26. The season 17 star and his fiance will be tying the knot on live TV, making Sean the first in Bachelor history to tie the knot with the woman he chose.
