Psyched for this weeks Grey’s Anatomy? You might want to sit down for this, with only two days to go before ‘My Favorite Mistake’, ABC has decided to delay airing the episode until March 29th. Us Grey’s Anatomy fan’s are already facing a several week hiatus, what did we do to deserve this? You want to know why. I want to know why. ABC is mum. The word circulated late yesterday via an ABCMedianet press release. Angry fans can find the nearest corner to pout in, because all of our angst isn’t going to change a thing. First they put LOST on at 10, now they yank the Grey’s Anatomy carpet out from under us? One thing is for sure, this isn’t our ‘favorite mistake’.
The switcheroo will move the episode ‘From a Whisper to a Scream’ which was originally scheduled to air on March 29th, to March 22nd. ‘My Favorite Mistake’ is a huge episode, particularly for Gizzie fans who are chomping at the bit to see the aftermath of last weeks drunken roll in the hay. The description for the ep is surprisingly light:

After this episode, Grey’s goes into repeats until April 26th when ‘Ain’t Nothing but the Real Thing’ kicks off a three week sprint to the season finale. That pivotal episode airs May 10th and has yet to be titled. The rumor is it will carry the title of the Grey’s Anatomy Spin off, which is being kept tightly under wraps.
The finale, in case you haven’t heard, will feature so many big name guests its going to be like a guest star explosion. There seems to be some confusion over whether this finale acts as a pilot or a finale/premiere at this point as it seems that the spin off is a done deal.
